Swedish consulting and software company Systecon Group has named Anders Carlsson as interim CEO.
Carlsson, who is stepping into the role following the departure of Dan Andersson, is currently serving as a member of the group’s board of directors, a position he assumed in May. Prior to that appointment, he was with Systecon Konsult AB for over 13 years, most recently serving as CEO since December 2020.
Tomas Eriksson, chair of the board, said Carlsson’s deep knowledge of the company and his life cycle management and defense sector experience will help continue growth expansion initiatives in the coming years.
Carlsson said he is looking forward to overseeing the transition period as the firm’s new top executive. “The Systecon Group is well-positioned to grow and innovate in the life cycle management field, and I am committed to ensuring we remain a global leader in this space,” he added.
Systecon provides its analysis-driven LCM platform Opus Suite to defense forces, defense system suppliers and maintenance providers. Earlier this year, it was tapped to support the BAE Systems Air GCAP Team at Warton and optimize Australia’s defense acquisitions and sustainment processes.
