Dennis Goege is set to succeed Jonathan Hoyle as Lockheed Martin’s vice president and chief executive for Europe, effective Oct. 1.
According to Lockheed Martin International Business Vice President Ray Piselli, the experienced defense and security executive is expected to contribute to the security and aerospace company’s regional growth objectives.
“His visionary approach, strategic mindset and passion for excellence will ensure the continuation of our growth in Europe, where Lockheed Martin has been a strategic partner for the defense and security of NATO and its allies for more than 75 years,” he added.
Goege joined Lockheed Martin in 2020 after serving 17 years at the German Aerospace Centre. As vice president of Central and Eastern Europe and general manager at Lockheed, he lent strategic oversight and leadership to support the company’s rapid business growth in its air, land, naval and space offerings.
Also taking on new roles are Emanuele Serafini, who will report to Goege as VP and regional executive for west Europe, and Paul Livingstone, incumbent VP and CEO at Lockheed Martin UK, who will expand his responsibilities to cover NATO transactions.
Lockheed Martin’s most recent business transactions in Europe include additional orders for its TPY-4 radar from Norway, a supply of new Patriot missiles for Spain, and a memorandum of understanding to co-develop advanced systems with Germany for European military forces.
