European cybersecurity firm Clavister is set to integrate CyberArmour products into BAE Systems Hägglunds’ CV90 infantry fighting vehicle platform for delivery to a Nordic nation. The effort is part of a contract with a ceiling of $9.5 million and a three-year performance period.
Under the deal, Clavister will install the CyberArmour RSG-400 and RSW-400 models, military-grade, artificial intelligence-enabled next-generation firewall solutions designed to meet modern militaries’ stringent requirements. The product offers secure communication, resilient system integration and protection against various threats. The initial delivery is scheduled for early 2027.
The CV90 family of infantry fighting vehicles is used by several European armed forces. Its latest iteration has fully digital solutions, including advanced battlefield management systems and networked capabilities. With the Clavister cybersecurity integration, the tanks gain technology to protect themselves from sophisticated cyberattacks.
Clavister CEO John Vestberg said the collaboration with BAE Systems coincides with governments’ increasing investments in upgrading their CV90 fleets.
“Our highly integrated cyber defense solutions are designed to provide the highest level of security, ensuring the operational resilience of these critical platforms in the most demanding battlefield conditions,” the chief executive said.
