Cybersecurity solutions startup Cysec has joined Viasat’s Elevate program, which provides the company with more resources to deliver state-of-the-art cybersecurity tools for satellite communications.
By joining the satcom provider’s ecosystem and marketplace, Cysec gains access to the Viasat network and its growing number of partners to advance its effort to deliver products that address threats targeting space-based communications and assets.
Since 2018, the France and Switzerland-based company has been supporting space internet businesses to improve the robustness, performance and integrity of their assets. The company’s ARCA family of software products — ARCA Satcom VPN, ARCA Trusted OS and ARCA Satlink — offers high-quality security for the space internet.
ARCA Satcom VPN has built-in encryption and authentication. “Our solution not only encrypts and accelerates data traffic but also boosts throughput by an average of 30 percent without added latency,” said Yacine Felk, chief operating officer and co-founder of Cysec. “This breakthrough unlocks numerous new use cases for our customers.”
