Ultra Intelligence & Communications has named David Rodgers as vice president of global sales.
Rodgers joined the company from Silvus Technologies, where he served as senior director of sales for unmanned systems and the Department of Defense market and played a key role in achieving sales revenue targets and securing a large U.S. government contract.
At Ultra I&C, he is responsible for enhancing the sales function within the company’s communications division and supporting business development efforts for the U.S. military and foreign defense ministries.
Rodgers said leading Ultra I&C’s sales efforts is “incredibly motivating” because the company offers advanced communications solutions that enhance customers’ operational capabilities and contribute to national security. “The team’s relentless drive for innovation, coupled with a commitment to reliability, positions us at the forefront of the industry,” he added.
According to Chris Bishop, Ultra I&C chief growth officer, Rodgers is the perfect fit for the role, given his vast experience in the U.S. military sector, robust network within the defense industry, and profound understanding of Ultra’s business operations.
Rodgers’ industry experience includes senior international business development positions at Northrop Grumman and Kratos Defense & Security Solutions. He was previously a U.S. Army communications officer, during which he was deployed to the Middle East and Asian theaters of operation.
