Raytheon Appoints Doug Stevenson as Europe/NATO Requirements, Capabilities VP

RTX business Raytheon has promoted Doug Stevenson to vice president for Europe and NATO requirements and capabilities.

His responsibilities include facilitating business development and growth across Raytheon’s mission areas in the region; leading a team managing customer engagements and relationships with senior government and military leaders, U.S. European Command, and NATO headquarters and its agencies; and overseeing the delivery of solutions addressing the customers’ defense and security needs.

Stevenson, who most recently served as Raytheon’s international capture director, announced the promotion in a LinkedIn post.

He has served in various roles at the company for nearly two decades. The executive started his career at Raytheon in January 2006, when he accepted a role in international business development focusing on Europe and NATO. Other roles include senior program manager and director for Poland and director of offsets and industrial cooperation.

Before joining Raytheon, Stevenson was the director of international marketing at L3 Technologies, which merged with Harris in 2019 to form L3Harris Technologies.

His industry experience also included time spent as director of strategy for Europe at Singapore Technologies Kinetics and as chief operating officer at Vectrix.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical engineering from the University of Washington and earned a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School.
