Defense and security company Saab has appointed Laurence Earl as the new vice president and head of operational excellence for its aeronautics business.
Earl confirmed his new position on his LinkedIn profile on Monday.

Earl has decades of experience in the aerospace and defense government contracting industry. Prior to his new role, he held multiple leadership posts across Saab, including as head of commercial and business support with a focus on missile systems within the Stockholm, Sweden-headquartered company’s dynamics division.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a marketing and business development manager for defense and space company Ultra Electronics and had a 10-year stint at BAE Systems.
Earl is a graduate of the University of Hertfordshire with a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering and completed executive education at the Stockholm School of Economics.
