Cambridge International continues to support the United States and its partner nations in South America four years after completing the nationalization of the Colombian Regional Helicopter Training Center support program.
Under the RHTC program, Cambridge delivered helicopter maintenance, instructor pilot standardization, maintenance training, logistics and airframe transition support to help the Colombian military efficiently and autonomously manage the country’s fleet of OH-58 and TH-67 aircraft.
The nationalization program, regarded by the U.S. Southern Command as a flagship effort, bolstered the U.S. government’s initiative to develop its allies’ security capacities, Cambridge said.
Additionally, the organization provided extensive counternarcotics mission experience, aviation experience, in-country logistics capability and in-country resources to transition the RHTC mission responsibilities within the declared timeline at the program’s launch.
According to Cambridge, it intends to continue to provide partner nations’ the support to sustain the success of the the program, noting that it has already strengthened Colombia’s counternarcotics capabilities, enabling the country and the United States to safeguard their shared national security interests.
