Australian Missile Corp. has appointed Jason Brun as chief operating officer. Brun, who most recently served as the company’s program director, announced his new role in a LinkedIn post on Sunday.
AMC facilitates collaboration between industry partners, academia, state governments and defense organizations in support of the Australian government’s establishment of the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Enterprise.
Brun joined AMC in October 2022 after spending over four years at QinetiQ Australia in various positions, including team lead for the weapons integrity and complex analysis team and the special projects team, senior engineer for the military helicopters team, and helicopter structural integrity program manager for the Australian Defence Force’s Black Hawk fleet.
His industry experience also includes serving as an engineering lead, fleet technical management team lead and aerospace engineer at Memko, which offers engineering services, advanced manufacturing technologies and aviation short courses.
Brun completed a double degree in aerospace engineering and management at RMIT University. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration and management from the Australian Institute of Business.
