Northrop Grumman has hired Fisher Huang to oversee the company’s operations in Taiwan, where it recently opened a new office to provide local customers and industry with increased access to Northrop offerings.

As the lead executive for Taiwan, Huang will develop and facilitate the implementation of Northrop’s market strategy and business development plan and manage relations with the Taiwanese government.

Huang moved to the aerospace and defense contractor from Honeywell Aerospace’s Taiwan defense business, where he was a customer business director. Prior to joining Honeywell, Huang was deputy Air Force program manager at the American Institute in Taiwan, a non-profit, private corporation serving as a de facto embassy in the island nation.

He also spent over two decades serving in the Republic of China Air Force, Taiwan’s air force, in various capacities, including a leadership position at the Taipei Economic & Cultural Representative Office in Washington, D.C., that he held for three years.

Stephen O’Bryan, corporate vice president and global business development officer at Northrop Grumman, expressed confidence that Fisher’s industry and diplomacy experience will help the company grow its business and strengthen its partnerships in Taiwan.
