ServiceNow has appointed Dave Richardson as chief technology officer for the California-based software company’s Defense and Justice business in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
In his new role at ServiceNow, he leads the integration of digital solutions to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency within the U.K. ministries of Defence and Justice and associated industry partners.
As CTO, he plays a significant role in developing partnerships and deploying the company’s platform capabilities, including IT transformation, digital products and services, platform as a service, and enterprise service management.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Richardson joined the company in May after nearly five years at Boeing, most recently as principal digital strategist responsible for advising, creating and implementing comprehensive digital strategies. Previously, he was a senior managing consultant at IBM, chief enterprise architect at CGI and lead enterprise architect at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence.
Since January 2021, he has served on the board of advisers of Team Defence Information, a collaborative association that informs defense information policy.
Richardson holds a doctorate in knowledge management and big data from Staffordshire University.
