Axient Opens Dutch Subsidiary’s New International Office in Netherlands’ Innovation Center

axient opens new subsidiary and new office

Axient has established a new subsidiary and opened a new office in the Netherlands to better serve its customers in Europe.

On Thursday, company executives celebrated the milestone with Dutch government leaders and industry representatives.

The American defense technology provider first announced its Dutch subsidiary, Axient Systems, in April. It marks the first time the company established a subsidiary outside the United States.

Axient Systems is headquartered in the city of Delft, the “heart of innovation in the Netherlands aerospace community,” according to Axient Chief Innovation Officer Jay Kovacs.

Delft is also home to over 250 active companies and organizations, making it the ideal site for fostering collaboration.

The new international office will serve as an innovation hub where the company will develop new offerings in space systems engineering, critical asset security, and modeling, simulation and analysis.

“Our robust aerospace and defense ecosystems offer Axient Systems an ideal environment to thrive and we are eager to support them in rolling out their activities and finding strong partnerships within our innovative community,” said Chris van Voorden, director of foreign investments and trade at Dutch economic development agency InnovationQuarter.
