Ultra I&C Adds Former Defense Leaders Stan Newberry, Pat Sullivan to Board of Directors

Ultra Intelligence & Communications has elected Stan Newberry and Pat Sullivan as new members of its board of directors

The communications and intelligence technology provider announced that Newberry and Sullivan will share insights and guide the company as it pursues new business opportunities within the federal market.

“I’m thrilled for Stan and Pat to bring their deep understanding and experience in the defense community to complement the expertise of our outstanding board, furthering the company’s strategic growth initiatives,” according to Karen Bomba, chair of the Ultra I&C’s board of directors. 

Newberry and Sullivan previously held roles within the Department of Defense.

Newberry served various roles, including as a senior leader, at the U.S. Air Force before he entered the private sector. He also had a stint at NASA, overseeing operations and technology development activities.

Meanwhile, Sullivan was an executive director for Naval Information Warfare Systems Command. He also held the position of executive director of the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence. In 2020, he retired after over 29 years of civil service to the nation.
