Chris Tsirlis has taken on the role of vice president of business development and product innovation at Airbus DS Government Solutions.
The U.S. Marine Corps veteran confirmed his new position on LinkedIn.
Prior to his appointment, Tsirlis served as a technical product manager at Microsoft. He also worked as a solutions architect with a focus on edge technologies for space and 5G and federal and commercial hybrid cloud networks at the technology company.
The Naval Postgraduate School alumnus has over 30 years of experience in the Marine Corps. His roles at the military branch include IT operations officer for the III Marine Expeditionary Unit G-6 deployed in Okinawa, Japan, and commanding officer for the Marine Wing Communications Squadron 28 in North Carolina.
In his new role, Tsirlis will work closely with a team of highly skilled professionals to develop new technologies to address the challenges that Airbus DS-GS customers face.
Based in Plano, Texas, Airbus DS-GS offers satellite communications and networking systems to support mission-critical workloads.
