Canberra has begun accepting applications from local defense companies for inclusion in the 2024 edition of a catalog that promotes its products and services to foreign governments.
The previous edition of the now-renamed Australian Defence Export Catalogue featured over 250 export-ready products and services. In 2024, renaming the publication reflects “the government’s intent not only to sell Australian products internationally but also to boost Australian ingenuity in global supply chains,” the Australian Department of Defence said.
Submissions for the upcoming catalog will be accepted via the Australian Defence Export Office webpage until Nov. 13. Interested businesses can find information on eligibility criteria and the application process on the site and ADEO’s mobile app.
Pat Conroy, minister for the Australian defense industry, said the 2024 publication will allow businesses to expand their reach and contribute to strengthening the country’s defense industry and capability to address current and future strategic challenges.
