Oracle Launches AI Center of Excellence in Singapore

Oracle has established an artificial intelligence center of excellence in Singapore to accelerate AI adoption and innovation across Southeast Asia. Part of the Oracle Solution Center, the Oracle AI Centre of Excellence seeks to bring together stakeholders to help organizations leverage advancements in AI.

The company said the new facility will provide a digital and physical environment equipped with the latest cloud and AI technologies, allowing organizations to train, experiment and transform business operations.

Specifically, the center will offer training sessions and certifications led by Oracle University and partners, supporting Oracle’s commitment to equipping 10,000 students and professionals in Singapore with digital skills by 2027. Additionally, participants will gain access to secure cloud environments for testing early-stage AI innovations using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. They can also develop proof-of-concept projects to pilot AI initiatives and assess their feasibility and potential benefits.

The Oracle AI Centre of Excellence is supported by Oracle’s ecosystem partners, which include Accenture, Deloitte, Digital Reality, PwC and ST Engineering.

“AI will fuel the next wave of opportunity and growth,” said Garrett Ilg, Oracle’s executive vice president for Japan & Asia Pacific. “The Oracle AI Centre of Excellence will empower individuals and organizations of all sizes across Southeast Asia with cutting-edge cloud and AI technologies, world-class training, and a dynamic environment for experimentation and innovation.”

The new center builds on Oracle’s efforts to enhance its presence in Southeast Asia. In October 2024, Oracle announced a $6.5 billion investment to establish a public cloud region in Malaysia, its third in the region. Oracle has also partnered with Thai carrier Advanced Info Service to launch AIS Cloud, a locally owned and operated hyperscale cloud platform powered by Oracle Alloy, enabling Thai organizations to accelerate digital transformation and explore AI applications.
