Bombardier Names Caroline Maso as Chief Human Resources Officer

Bombardier has appointed former Pratt & Whitney executive Caroline Maso as chief human resources officer, effective early in 2025.

Reporting to Bombardier President and CEO Eric Martel, Maso will lead the company’s HR practice in all countries where it operates, taking advantage of her two-decade experience in operational and strategic HR practices, including in the aerospace industry.

She currently serves as HR senior vice president at AtkinsRealis. Maso will assume her new role at Bombardier, with Dan Brennan, the current chief HR officer, assisting in the transition phase before he retires on June 30, 2025.

Maso previously held leadership positions at RTX’s Pratt & Whitney, including HR vice president for commercial engines and the business’ Canada division. According to her LinkedIn profile, she also served as a senior HR counselor for labor relations at Petro-Canada.

In welcome remarks for the new CHRO, Martel said Maso’s credentials and leadership experience will improve the company’s people strategy and help attract, retain, develop and engage with talents.
