Casper Klynge Joins Zscaler to Lead Government Partnerships Business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa

Zscaler has appointed Casper Klynge as vice president and head of government partnerships for the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

In a LinkedIn post, Zscaler said Klynge will drive public policy work and strategic relationships with governments, international and regional organizations, and senior leaders across EMEA.

His responsibilities also include helping countries, organizations and critical infrastructure operators mitigate cybersecurity risks in line with European and national data privacy and regulatory requirements and driving digital sovereignty initiatives and strategic autonomy aspirations.

Klynge moved to Zscaler from the Danish Chamber of Commerce, where he was a senior vice president for nearly two years. Klynge previously served in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including as tech ambassador and ambassador of Denmark to Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. His industry experience includes time spent as vice president of European government affairs at Microsoft.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he currently serves as a member of GLOBSEC’s Future Security & Defense Council, the European Council on Foreign Relations, the Governments Digitalization Council of Denmark and Bluetown’s board of advisers.

Klynge studied social science and political science at Roskilde University and earned a master’s degree in political science focused on international relations from the University of Copenhagen.
