The Canada-based subsidiaries of Palantir and Carahsoft are partnering to offer mission-critical software to the Canadian public sector.
Under the partnership, Carahsoft will serve as the sole distributor of Palantir platform licenses for Canadian government customers.
Carahsoft was awarded a software licensing supply arrangement, the Canadian government’s primary contracting vehicle for enterprise software licenses, in September.
The partnership marks the first time that Palantir’s products will be offered widely to SLSA clients.
“We look forward to the opportunities this will unlock for using Palantir software to transform how Canadian public sector entities execute their mandates and achieve mission success,” said David MacNaughton, director of Palantir Technologies Canada.
Palantir provides technology around the world to improve all-domain situational awareness, manage non-combatant evacuation, fight financial crimes and enhance health care delivery. The company’s artificial intelligence platform enables customers to deploy large language models and other types of AI tools within their networks.
The partnership is an expansion of Palantir and Carahsoft’s existing collaborative relationship in the United States.
