Elbit Systems Sweden AB will manage the rollout of the LSS Mark tactical command support system as part of the Swedish Army’s digitalization.
The company will serve as the LSS Mark integration partner for the Swedish Army over a 10-year period under an approximately $170 million contract.
Under the deal, the Elbit Systems subsidiary will be in charge of the installation, maintenance and upgrade of command and control systems on thousands of different platforms across the military branch, including command posts and vehicles.
“To be selected as the integration partner for the Army digitization program is a significant achievement for Elbit Systems and we are very proud of this award,” said Tobias Wennberg, general manager of Elbit Systems Sweden AB. “It helps strengthen our position as a core technology partner to FMV and the Swedish Armed Forces on their digitalization journey, and we are honored to be able to support this journey as a partner to both FMV, the Swedish Armed Forces and other industrial partners over the next years.”
Work on the contract will be conducted at the company’s facilities in Sweden.
