Texas-based IT and cybersecurity company CrowdStrike has recruited former ServiceNow executive Tim Clemens to its Horizon Business Unit. Clemens said in a LinkedIn post Friday that he will serve as the unit’s vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan.
The executive described Horizon as “CrowdStrike’s most dynamic innovation engine,” with significant opportunities in the cybersecurity sector of the region.
CrowdStrike’s footprint in Asia Pacific and Japan includes a new office in India that the company opened in February 2024 plus an Indian innovation and development center inaugurated in 2018. The company also established a Singapore office in November 2023.
Roles at ServiceNow, Oracle and Dell
Before joining CrowdStrike, Clemens worked for over eight years in the Melbourne office of California-based ServiceNow, where he served most recently as regional director for major Australia-New Zealand accounts.
He also had previous stints as sales director for the Melbourne offices of Oracle and McAfee. In addition, he held managerial roles at Dell EMC for over nine years.
Clemens holds a bachelor’s degree in computing-information systems from Monash University in Victoria.
