Brian Senior and Gretta Svendsen have joined enterprise resource planning software provider SAP’s Australia and New Zealand leadership team.
Senior is joining SAP ANZ as executive general manager for its Federal Government business. He has over two decades of experience in sovereign hyperscale cloud solutions across federal, state and education sectors. In the new role, the executive will spearhead the company’s efforts to adopt and expand a “whole of government” agreement between the company and the Australian Digital Transformation Agency.
Meanwhile, Svendsen will assume SAP ANZ’s corporate executive general manager post. In her new role, she will oversee efforts to accelerate the company’s partner-led growth strategy and strengthen collaboration and operational excellence.
Commenting on her appointment, Svendsen said she looks forward to establishing new partnerships in the region. “It’s an exciting time to be joining SAP, with AI reshaping businesses across ANZ,” she said in a LinkedIn post. “SAP powers 92 percent of Forbes Global 200 companies, and what I love about this era of tech is that any business can tap into the same tech that’s used by the … most innovative companies.”
According to SAP ANZ President and Managing Director Angela Colantuono, the combination of Senior and Svendsen’s experience and expertise will help the company deliver solutions that assure real-life impact. “Businesses across ANZ are navigating increasing pressure to digitize and speedily innovate,” she said. “Now, with our modern cloud and AI solutions, both existing and new customers are turning to us to adapt and scale in this era.”
