Elbit Systems has secured a $130 million contract from an unnamed European customer to supply advanced rockets for its Precise and Universal Launching System.
Under the three-year deal, the company will provide various rocket systems, including training rockets, ACCULAR with a range of up to 35 kilometers, EXTRA with a range of up to 150 kilometers and Predator Hawk with a range of up to 300 kilometers.
“We are proud to have been awarded this contract to deliver training rockets and operational precision-guided rockets to an additional European customer for its PULS launchers,” said Yehuda Vered, general manager of Elbit Systems’ land unit. “This achievement underscores the increased demand both in Europe and globally for the PULS system, its state-of-the-art capabilities and broad range of rocket munitions.”
Elbit Systems describes PULS as a versatile and cost-effective autonomous artillery rocket system capable of launching multiple types of ammunition from a single platform, with a range of up to 300 kilometers. The system is currently deployed in Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark.
This latest agreement follows a $100 million deal the company secured in February to integrate a European country’s various firing platforms into a centralized command system.
