Airborne and ground-based autonomous defense solutions manufacturer DZYNE Technologies has expanded the manufacturing capability of its facility in Portland, Oregon, amid growing demand among civil and military customers for counter-unmanned aerial systems.

“To keep pace with surging demand, we have had to significantly increase production and personnel across engineering, production and business development,” said DZYNE Technologies CEO Matthew McCue.

The upgraded factory features enhanced production lines designed to accelerate Dronebuster 4-EU production, which is expected to benefit a multimillion-dollar order for Dronebuster counter-UAS technology from an undisclosed allied customer.

Apart from the Portland upgrade, the company introduced the Dronebuster 4-EU handheld counter-drone system. The upgraded solution is designed for use within the European short-range device frequency bands, enabling regional customers to have a tool that incorporates fixed-site and wearable drone detection and visualization options. It could be applied to several use cases, including secure facility defense, border surveillance and critical infrastructure protection.

McCue said the Dronebuster 4-EU offers security teams and infrastructure operators “adaptable, region-specific protection across diverse environments.”

DZYNE specializes in delivering counter-UAS solutions. It has since provided 2,200 Dronebuster units to global customers, including more than 1,000 used by the U.S. armed forces.
