Tetra Tech Expands Ireland Presence With Consultancy Acquisition

High-end consulting and engineering services provider Tetra Tech has completed its acquisition of Carron + Walsh, an Irish management consulting firm.

Tetra Tech Chairman and CEO Dan Batrack said the deal expands his company’s customer network and cross-selling opportunities to clients based in Ireland. “[Carron + Walsh’s] innovation in project delivery directly aligns with our Leading with Science approach and expands our technology suite in project management services,” he added.

Based in several locations across Ireland, Carron + Walsh specializes in project and cost management for large-scale commercial, life sciences and infrastructure projects. Founded by Denis Carron and Marian Walsh, joint managing directors, the firm maintains agreements and relationships with customers in various industries, including public sector agencies, housing authorities and financial lending institutions.

According to Walsh, the consultancy’s integration with Tetra Tech will allow her team to showcase their capabilities to a global consumer base. She added that the company’s workforce and existing customers will access “enhanced resources, expanded service offerings and a shared commitment to innovation and excellence.”

Tetra Tech expanded its federal IT practice with the acquisition of LS Technologies, a U.S. federal enterprise technology services and management consulting firm, in February 2024. Batrack said the deal enhances the company’s subject matter expertise to offer additional innovative mission-critical solutions.
