CYSIAM and CrowdStrike will collaborate to improve the posture of the United Kingdom’s defense supply chain using their expertise in incident response, managed security services and threat intelligence. The partnership comes as the local defense supply chain faces increasing cyber threats that could impact operations.
According to Ben Emslie, Northern EMEA vice president at CrowdStrike, the two companies are taking a security-first approach to empower defense organizations in anticipating, detecting and responding to adversarial threats. “CYSIAM’s deep understanding of the U.K. defense sector and supply chain dynamics aligns perfectly with CrowdStrike’s mission to stop breaches,” he added.
Under the deal, CYSIAM and CrowdStrike will focus on delivering bespoke cybersecurity solutions that meet the requirements laid down by the British defense ministry. CrowdStrike’s threat intelligence solutions include the artificial intelligence-powered Endpoint Security and Falcon Next-Gen SIEM.
CYSIAM CEO David Allan acknowledged the importance of the defense supply chain in protecting the country’s national security.
