RTX business Raytheon has secured a $52.2 million firm-fixed-price delivery order from the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command to deliver 18 forward-looking infrared high-definition turret assembly spares for several foreign government-owned MH-60 aircraft. The Sikorsky MH-60 Seahawk is a twin turboshaft engine, multi-mission helicopter derived from the UH-60 Black Hawk.
The Foreign Military Sale transaction with NAVAIR will benefit India, Norway, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Spain. Raytheon plans to support the initiative from various locations, primarily in McKinney, Texas, through February 2028.
Raytheon’s forward-looking infrared, or FLIR, technology enables operators to conduct targeting, reconnaissance and fire support in all weather conditions, including smoke, rain, fog, or snow, capturing high-resolution images even in darkness.
In 2021, South Korea purchased Lockheed Martin MH-60R Seahawk multimission helicopters for $447.2 million under the U.S. FMS program. India acquired its latest batch of MH-60s in 2024 under a $1.17 billion deal, which includes associated equipment and support services.
