Trellix has partnered with tech provider NEXTGEN to distribute its artificial intelligence-powered cybersecurity platform in Australia and New Zealand.
Under the partnership, Trellix will use NEXTGEN’s distribution network and its NEXTGEN Connect business model, allowing partners to provide its cybersecurity solutions to new customers. Apart from expanding its customer base, Trellix said NEXTGEN Connect will also help it grow partnerships and improve security outcomes across the region.
NEXTGEN Connect Managing Director Wendy O’Keeffe explained that the company’s channel services model integrates pipeline development, brand awareness and AWS cloud marketplace expertise, supported by partner engagement and professional services. “This approach supports Trellix’s strategy to simplify adoption of the complete Trellix Security Platform, with security controls spanning endpoint, data, network, email, cloud and third-party integrations for cloud, on-premises and hybrid deployments,” she added.
Neville Vincent, Trellix’s senior vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan, emphasized the importance of the partnership in ensuring cyber resilience, saying, “NEXTGEN brings fresh energy and high aspirations to our partner program, qualities we know will benefit our partner base and customers as we fortify Trellix as a next-generation cybersecurity powerhouse in the region.”
Trellix currently provides its AI-powered automation and analytics services to over 50,000 businesses and government entities worldwide. The Plano, Texas-based cybersecurity firm recently revamped its XTend Partner Program, providing clients with a refreshed learning program, an enhanced management portal, new tiers with better incentives and an improved centralized coverage model. Additionally, it appointed its new CEO, Vishal Rao, who will lead both Trellix and its sister company, Skyhigh Security.
