L3Harris Technologies has selected electronics manufacturer ABI Electronics for an exclusive supplier showcase, according to a LinkedIn post by ABI Business Development Engineer Jake Butler. The event, co-hosted by L3Harris’ Space & Airborne Systems division and Blue Origin, will be held in Cape Canaveral, Florida, from Feb. 10 to 13.
According to the West of England Aerospace Forum, the Florida Space Technology Showcase is organized by the U.K. Department of Business and Trade and aims to connect pre-selected British suppliers with key players in the Florida space cluster. It is the U.K. government’s first official space trade mission since the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the U.K and the state of Florida, seeking to deepen trade relations in space, fintech, transport, infrastructure, legal service, agricultural biotechnology, supply chains and logistics.
Yorkshire-based ABI Electronics will join representatives from Boeing, Lockheed Martin, SpaceX, Northrop Grumman, RTX and other major defense firms in business-to-business meetings led by Blue Origin and L3Harris. Space Florida will also spearhead additional networking opportunities.
Since 1983, ABI Electronics has provided specialized electronic test and measurement equipment and contract electronics manufacturing services globally. Its flagship product, the BoardMaster, offers advanced diagnostic capabilities for fault prevention and obsolescence mitigation and has been used by major firms such as Samsung, NASA, Alstom, Lego and Lockheed Martin, as well as independent repair organizations.
