Indian telecommunications and defense solutions provider HFCL has partnered with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. to develop and deliver subsystems for advanced unmanned aircraft systems.
According to HFCL, the contract win reflects the research and development capabilities it has built over the years, contributing to the design, development and delivery timelines envisioned by GA-ASI for the project.
“We at HFCL have always been at the forefront of innovation, dedicated to enhancing national security through indigenous technology solutions,” said HFCL Managing Director Mahendra Nahata. “Our partnership with General Atomics reinforces HFCL’s position as a trusted partner in the global defense landscape and underscores our dedication to supporting India’s defense modernization efforts.”
GA supplies several nations with UAS. Among its recent contracts include an order of four MQ-9B SkyGuardian vehicles to Taiwan and six MQ-9 Block 5 systems from the Italian government.
