Hensoldt has received a new order from the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment for its Dynahawk fire control sights (FLV).
According to the Munich-based sensor specialist, the contract is valued at several million euros and covers deliveries for this year and next, with an option for additional systems in 2026.
Josef Reif, Hensoldt’s sales manager, said the Dynahawk significantly enhances the accuracy of the German armed forces’ anti-tank weapons against dynamic and distant targets.
“Thanks to the FLV, in conjunction with the Hensoldt IRV-MR night vision attachment, we can also guarantee operational capability at night,” he added.
Dynahawk features a 5.5x optical magnification, laser rangefinder and ballistics computer that can automatically identify loaded ammunition and calculate ballistics. It is ideal for long-range, shoulder-supported weapons systems, including the Bundeswehr’s Wirkmittel 90 and Leichte Wirkmittel 1800+.
Hensoldt previously worked on a billion-dollar contract with the Bundeswehr to develop its PEGASUS signal intelligence system for the Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft.
