Collins Aerospace will build a new $250 million manufacturing facility in Singapore. “This new facility will be a hub of innovation, leveraging cutting-edge technology to support aerospace components’ design, development and production,” Henry Brooks, president of Power & Controls at Collins Aerospace, said Wednesday.
Construction of the new factory at Seletar Aerospace Park will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025 and be completed in 2027. Production will commence in 2028, providing Collins with two operational manufacturing sites in the country. Currently, the RTX business runs a manufacturing facility at Bedok, but this will cease to operate and be replaced by the new site under a multiyear transition plan.
Collins Aerospace supplies aerospace products to Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer and Gulfstream, among other key airframers.
According to Brooks, the investment at Seletar, home to major aerospace companies, “underscores our long-term commitment to Singapore and to providing our customers with the highest quality products and services.”
