Accenture has expanded its SAP and supply chain capabilities with the acquisition of Camelot Management Consultants, a SAP-focused management and technology consulting firm based in Germany.
In a press release on Monday, the global professional services firm said customers will benefit from Camelot’s analytics, data strategy and modernization expertise at a time when more organizations are embracing artificial intelligence.
Tobias Regenfuss, technology lead for Austria, Switzerland and Germany at Accenture, said the acquisition comes at a time when there is a growing demand for data and analytics services designed for supply chain management.
With operations centered in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, Camelot serves a client base engaged in a wide range of industries, including consumer goods, industrial manufacturing and life sciences.
The deal follows Accenture’s integration of Norwegian SAP-focused consulting firm Einr into its operations in 2023.
