Fluor Expands in India to Beef Up Global Operations Support; Dan Spinks Quoted

Global engineering and construction company Fluor has inaugurated its second office in India to enhance support for its projects worldwide.

Located at Notus IT Park in Vadodara, western India, the new office adds about 300 employees to the Texas-headquartered company’s workforce.

“Fluor’s expansion into Vadodara underscores our commitment to India, allowing us to grow our global execution excellence by tapping into the large pool of talent from the existing workforce and many universities in this part of the country,” Dan Spinks, Fluor senior vice president of global operations for energy solutions, said in a statement announcing the office opening.

The new employees from the Gujarat metropolis will supplement the 1,600 personnel at its New Delhi office, which marked its 25th anniversary in July 2020.

Operating for over 110 years, Fluor has a global workforce of 30,000 employees. The company posted $15.5 billion in revenue in 2023 and placed 303rd in the Fortune 500 companies.
