The U.K. Ministry of Defence has awarded Jacobs Solutions a contract to deliver advanced cybersecurity solutions.
Awarded under the Digital and IT Professional Services framework, the agreement calls for the company to provide cyber technology expertise for the UK Strategic Command’s Defence Digital organization.
According to Jacobs, the DIPS framework has a potential value of $1.52 billion, and work will run until 2027.
Under the deal, Jacobs and its suppliers will provide technical delivery capabilities, strategic insight and leadership support to help the ministry manage its digital and IT programs.
The company will also test and evaluate technical and nontechnical security features of the MoD’s cryptographic and other security systems.
Jacobs Executive Vice President Steve Arnette said the contract will support the MoD’s critical needs and the United Kingdom’s defense and security initiatives.
“This award showcases our ability to provide cutting-edge solutions across various domains within the cybersecurity sector,” he added.
Jacobs secured the MoD deal following an earlier $132 million contract win in January to supply research and technology services for the safe operation of Royal Navy submarines.
