The Idemia Group has established three new divisions to accelerate growth and develop new offerings that address the needs of their specific segments.
The three divisions are Idemia Secure Transactions, Idemia Public Security and Idemia Smart Identity.
“Over the past few years, the group has clearly demonstrated its ability to perform and confirmed its changes of dimension and an acceleration in growth and leadership,” said Pierre Barrial, president and CEO of the Idemia Group.
Philippe Oliva, former chief commercial officer at Eutelsat, will serve as CEO of the Idemia Secure Transactions division. He will oversee the company’s payment and connectivity business.
Meanwhile, Matthew Cole, previously executive vice president for public security and identity business unit at Idemia, will lead Idemia Public Security. The division will focus on the company’s biometrics technology portfolio.
Antoine Grenier, who was vice president of the Europe region for public security and identity business unit at Idemia, was appointed as head of the Idemia Smart Identity division. ISI will specialize in physical and digital identity.
The new divisions are part of the company’s effort to simplify its operations.
