CrowdStrike is expanding its presence in South Asia with a new office in India.
The new facility is located in the city of Pune, one of India’s biggest metropolises, and touts 52,000 square foot space, or about double the size of previous CrowdStrike offices in the region.
CrowdStrike remains headquartered in Texas, but the IT and cybersecurity support provider has maintained a presence in India for years. In 2018, the company opened CrowdStrike Innovation and Development Center in Pune. The facility serves as a regional hub for talent and innovation.
The new Pune office is expected to improve customer service and expand the company’s global product, engineering and business services teams.
Michael Sentonas, president at CrowdStrike, said the Pune offices give the company access to a wide talent pool.
“Our development team in India has played a pivotal role in delivering the innovation and powerful platform capabilities our customers require to stop breaches,” he shared.
Sentonas also pledged that CrowdStrike will continue to invest in India and other key regions to deliver Falcon cybersecurity services to customers around the world.
The company also recently opened a new regional hub in Singapore to serve customers in Asia.
