Capgemini, a digital transformation and technology services headquartered in Paris, France, has named Nive Bhagat as group chief financial officer and group executive board member.
Bhagat replaces Carole Ferrand, who has served in the CFO capacity since 2018. Ferrand will facilitate the transition of her responsibilities to her successor in the next couple of weeks and will officially step down from the role at the end of the year to pursue other career opportunities.
“Carole joined Capgemini when it was a 12 billion Euro company and during her tenure we have not only almost doubled our revenues to 22 billion but have also completed one of the group’s largest acquisitions with Altran and navigated a global pandemic,” said Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini Group.
Prior to her appointment, Bhagat served as CEO of cloud and infrastructure services at Capgemini, where she led over 30,000 employees. She also led Capgemini’s cloud infrastructure services for Europe, markets with full P/L responsibility for all sectors and private sector across the applications business in the United Kingdom.
Her resume also includes stints at Infosys Technologies and KPMG.
