US Courts Administrative Office Awards $143M Contract for CGI Momentum

The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts has awarded CGI Federal an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for its Momentum software solution to support the office’s financial management and acquisitions processes.

Authorized under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, Momentum offers automation and data capabilities for contracting and financial management.

CGI Federal said the IDIQ contract provides a one-year base period and nine one-year options, valued at $143.5 million in total if all options are exercised.

“In enhancing financial transparency, accountability and performance, CGI’s Momentum software improves operational efficiency and the user experience to further the stewardship of taxpayer dollars for the judicial branch,” Brian Becker, CGI vice president and sector lead, U.S. Federal Judiciary and Legislative Branch, said in a statement.

Under the contract, CGI will deploy its Momentum solution for various support services to the U.S. Courts administrator, including staff training, strategic consulting, application operations and management, hosting and service desk support.

More than 100 federal organizations already rely on the platform to gather actionable insights on areas ranging from financials and acquisitions to budget and asset management.
