QinetiQ, KBR Team Up for Test and Evaluation Services for Australian Defense

QinetiQ and KBR have signed a new partnership agreement to collaborate on delivering test and evaluation services to the Australian Defence Force.

Under the teaming agreement, the two companies will build their T&Es by sharing skills and expertise from their global and local experience.

In a statement, QinetiQ Australia Advisory Services Managing Director Paul Angelatos highlighted the value of industry collaborations to the warfighter.

“Through strong industry networks and long-term investment in initiatives such as our sovereign T&E skills program, we are growing capability in Australia to support the increasingly complex T&E projects of our defense and security customers,” he added.

Nic Maan, newly appointed vice president for Asia-Pacific government solutions at KBR, also noted the “enormous potential” the partnership brings to its customers.

He said QinetiQ’s T&E expertise has made it a trusted partner of the U.K. Ministry of Defence and Canberra. With KBR’s specialties as a test, trial and training agent for the US Department of Defense, the two can assemble a “deep and focused pool” of experts ready to support the Australian military forces’ requirements, Maan said.
