ASRC Federal has announced its acquisition of Manassas, Virginia-based Broadleaf, which provides cybersecurity, network engineering, cloud migration, training and program management services.

The acquisition of the IT contractor expands ASRC’s footprint in the U.S. Army commands, along with the U.S. Navy and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.

Broadleaf, with a workforce of 600, will also boost ASRC’s Department of Defense and federal civilian customers. 

Broadleaf President Vince Apesa welcomed the acquisition, saying that his team is “passionate about driving mission success for our customers” and is excited over the depth of resources and talent at ASRC Federal.

Jennifer Felix, president and CEO at ASRC Federal, is confident that the combined company will “continue to excel in the support of important customer missions,” ASRC Federal said.
