Comtech, a leading provider of advanced communication solutions, has appointed Nicole Robinson as its Chief Strategy Officer. Robinson is a space industry veteran with almost 20 years of leadership experience in both the public and private sectors. In her previous role as President of Ursa Space Systems, she was responsible for driving global growth and optimizing operations. Robinson also served as senior vice president of global government for global commercial satellite operator SES. Comtech CEO Ken Peterman praised Robinson’s extensive expertise and knowledge of the space industry. Peterman believes she will be instrumental in helping the company achieve its core business objectives. In her new role, Robinson will work closely with Comtech’s Strategic Council for various initiatives, including developing and implementing new technologies, spearheading global growth initiatives, and leading other priorities in the local and international geospatial imagery and data and space communications markets. Robinson completed her bachelor’s and MBA degrees at Radford University and Liberty University, respectively, and graduated from Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government’s Senior Executives in National and International Security Program, Comtech said.
