Ultra Intelligence & Communications has appointed Chris Bishop as its new chief growth officer. In this capacity, Bishop will support growth initiatives and work with CEO Jon Rucker to ensure alignment with the company’s long-term plans.

Bishop brings to his new role three decades of experience in the defense, intelligence and federal civilian markets. His previous employers include Mission Technologies, Alion Science and Technology, and ManTech International, where he also held the role of CGO, Ultra said.

On behalf of Ultra, Rucker expressed excitement regarding Bishop’s joining the organization, noting the benefits that Bishop’s leadership and industry experience will bring.

For his part, Bishop said he looked forward to working with the Ultra team, adding, “I am passionate about finding ways to help ensure mission success and am eager to take part in the development of innovative solutions.”
