CAES announced that it has secured a contract for AN/ALQ-99 Low Band Consolidation transmitters from the U.S. Navy.

The contract covers the initial pre-production phase of the LBC transmitters, which provide high power across multiple octave bandwidths for maritime Tactical Aviation aircraft operating from U.S. Navy aircraft carriers in extreme conditions. The transmitters offer low maintenance costs and high reliability, CAES said.

Mike Kahn, CAES president and CEO, welcomed the contract award, saying the company is “proud to support the US Navy with our engineering and manufacturing expertise to deliver high-performance advanced RF technologies.”
