Sumaria Systems has named Bryan Bearden the vice president of IT services. Dave Dzaran, CEO of Sumaria Systems, announced the appointment of Bearden, who brings extensive aerospace and defense industry experience with him. He has held senior executive roles in programs offering IT services, such as application development and modernization, digital engineering, cloud migration and training systems and support. In his new role at the professional, technology, engineering, and management services company, Bearden will manage the IT services division’s operational culture and growth, ensuring that customers receive technology solutions that offer innovation and operational excellence. Dzaran said Bearden will not only bring his technical expertise but will also be tasked with expanding the company’s IT services offerings. The former Air Force officer holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M University and master’s degrees from the National Defense University, Air University and Embry-Riddle University. At Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, he is a senior executive fellow of public policy, Sumaria Systems said.
