The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has awarded General Dynamics Information Technology an $88.2 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for software development services in support of Geospatial Intelligence Search and Retrieval, a system that makes it possible to quickly access and disseminate data collected from GEOINT sources.
The GSR program is housed in a multi-domain cloud environment.
Work under the contract, which includes agile program management, IT architecture, security engineering and compliance, and system engineering, will be done at multiple locations, including a GDIT innovation facility called the Cortex.
The deal has a five-year ordering period, GDIT said.
GDIT Senior Vice President for Intelligence and Homeland Security Kelly Ferrell commented on the contract award, saying that his company will use its artificial intelligence and data analytics capabilities to support the NGA.
