ITC Federal has named Imran Bashir as the company’s new chief technology officer, tasked to lead in envisioning its innovation and strategic growth and helping improve the customer and partner experience.

Prior to joining ITC Federal, Bashir held various leadership roles at ASGN companies, serving customers in the federal, state and local sectors as well as in health care, education and commerce.

This included stints as vice president for emerging technologies and CTO of cloud computing at ECS Federal. He also served as managing director for emerging technology at Apex Systems.

Bashir, commenting on his new role, said he is looking forward to becoming a part of ITC’s strong leadership and leading its talented team of technology professionals.

The executive, a published author, holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan, and has a master’s and doctorate in computer engineering from Syracuse University in New York.

According to Greg Fitzgerald, CEO of ITC Federal, the newly appointed CTO is expected to help the company achieve its goals as it develops its modernization offerings, thanks to his technical expertise in using emerging technologies to build enterprise delivery capabilities.
