Executive Mosaic is honored to introduce Lisa Mascolo, a managing director at IBM‘s global business services segment, as an inductee into the 2017 edition of the Wash100 — Executive Mosaic’s annual selection of influential leaders in the government contracting arena.

Mascolo is a senior executive that oversees a team of IBM personnel that provides services to the U.S. federal government in technology areas such as cloud computing, data analytics, mobile devices, social media and security.

She previously worked at diversified health company UnitedHealth Group as executive vice president of government solutions.

Mascolo led the integration of acquired companies as well as the technology and healthcare services of UnitedHealth Group’s Optum subsidiary to establish a single market facing entity named Optum Federal Solutions.

The U.S. federal sector veteran also served as chief executive of Optimos where she engaged with federal civilian clients to offer services management, information intelligence, content management, operations management and enterprise resource planning platforms.

Mascolo helped pursue and capture government customers at Accenture as managing director of the U.S. federal client service group.

She also served as Accenture’s U.S. country managing director in charge of profit and loss entities such as communications and high technology; financial services; products; public service; and resources across strategy, sales and delivery.
