Executive Mosaic is pleased to introduce Mike Herrinton, leader for the U.S. government sector and a partner at Ernst & Young, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — Executive Mosaic’s annual selection of influential leaders in the government contracting arena.
The 29-year EY veteran leads a practice that provides assurance, tax, advisory and transaction services to clients.
His career includes work in programs centered around audits of financial statements and information technology-based business processes, IT general controls and system implementation efforts across multiple industries.
Herrinton helped develop and implement EY’s worldwide audit methodology and previously led the professional services firm’s advisory federal government sector, Americas risk and mid-Atlantic IT risk units and Chesapeake advisory market segment, where he also served as coordinating partner on the CSC focus core account.
His clients have included General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Marriott and Freddie Mac.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University.
