Dewey Houck

Executive Mosaic is honored to introduce Dewey Houck, chief data analytics officer for Boeing‘s defense segment, as an inductee into the 2016 edition of the Wash100 — Executive Mosaic’s annual selection of influential leaders in the government contracting arena.

Houck transitioned into the role in June 2015 after Boeing established a data analytics organization that works to help build information capability into the aerospace technology manufacturer’s product and service offerings for the defense, space and security segment’s customers.

In July 2015, Boeing opened a new cyber analytics hub in Singapore to work with partners in the Asia-Pacific region on new technology to protect information systems.

Customers in the APAC region have increased their demand for cybersecurity products and services, Houck said at the time.

Houck previously served as vice president and general manager of the defense segment’s electronic and information solutions division — a part of the network and space systems unit — and was succeeded by fellow 2016 Wash100 inductee Chris Raymond in that role.

He is also a former chief data analytics officer for Boeing’s Phantom Works R&D-focused division, VP of intelligence systems and chief technology officer for the group’s mission systems unit.

He joined Boeing upon its 2000 acquisition of Autometric, where he served as VP of technology development.

Executive Mosaic congratulates Dewey Houck and the Boeing team for their selection to receive this award.
